Always been my favorite time of the day. I love my massage and the throne set up for me in the tub!

Hanging' With the Fam
Right, without all those nurses and docs and tubes, I can finally spend some time getting to know my family! My maasi flew in from Singapore for a few days just so meet me, so I tried to stay awake to hang with her a little (it was hard, I was still supposed to be inside, you know!). I napped, and I looked around, and generally got to know these peeps who I suspected would be around me for a long time to come.

After 12 days in the Special Care Nursery, I can finally go home! My mummy and daddy were so excited after they got over the initial shock of my being discharged a day earlier than planned. They came to pick me up in my brand new car seat, and my nanu and maasi were waiting for me. But I was so wiped out from all the activity that I had to take a snooze in my cool new bed!

My first bath
Who burps better?
Even though Mommy's style looks more comfortable, Daddy's burping style works better (author admits he may be biased ;) )

My first visitors
The Chadha's - Sandeep, Gitanjali, and Jaisal Bhaiya - are Karam's very first visitors. Jaisal very cutely doesn't like it when his daddy pays Karam too much attention ;)
Cozy with Nanu
Bonding with Nanu! Having (kaamna's) Mom around has made this experience even more enjoyable and special. Thanks Mom!
My first home
The first few nights we get to sleep in the hospital in a room close by the Infirmary.. but not with Karam. We miss him when we're not with him... although Mommy can certainly use some rest.
Special Care nursery
While amazing to be with Karam earlier than expected, it is tough to see our love getting ready for Special Care nursery. Luckily, all normal.. just that being born at 35 weeks, Karam needs a tube for food.. but once he can feed from the bottle and Mommy, then we're all on our way home. We both hope it is less than the 2-3 weeks Dr. Sen tells it likely will be.

Hello Karam!
Love at first sight! Can't believe our baby is finally here. Mommy did awesome during labor.. she managed to hold off the cesarian and go natural. Daddy does the health check with the nurse and we have a healthy and very beautiful baby. Obviously, overjoyed beyond belief and we both instantly feel that our life has become even better.
