My First Visit to the Dentist

I had my first visit to the dentist and I didn't cry a bit! Mama was in the other room getting her teeth cleaned and the dentist and assistant counted and cleaned my teeth! Then I got a toy motorcycle and a brand new toothbrush with a light!

The didis come to visit!

Alekha, Alea, maasi and maasa came to visit for Diwali this year. We had so much fun! We went to Great America, to the Exploratorium, the De Young, to lunch and dinner but we even had fun just playing at home! My favorite was when they came to my school to make diyas for Diwali!

Vegas, Baby!

We went to Vegas for the first time and I had so much fun! We stayed at the Venetian and we went on the gondolas, I won a giraffe at Circus Circus, saw the sharks at the Mandalay Bay and the dolphins at the Mirage, the talking tree and the fountains at the Bellagio.. it was amazing!

From Vegas!

First week of school update

So I was happy going to school but then I cried a lot when dada left me - I didn't know I was going to be there all by myself! Then I cried and sat by myself but then I ate pasta with teachers Sara and Maddie. I cried a lot when mamma picked me up.

Now I am on week 2 and I love it! I sometimes forget to wave goodbye to dada and want to stay longer when mama comes!

And I love the pasta!

First Day of School!

I am so excited - today is my first day of preschool at the Italian School. I have a new bag and all my clothes are labeled and in ziploc in case I need a change! I also have a new raccoon sweater.Andiamo!

Playing on the Golf Course

This week dada took me to the golf course and we played 9 holes! It was fun, except when I missed!

Hanging at Crissy Field

Today, mama, naanu, kuku and I went to Crissy Field and hung out on the beach. It was so much fun! I played in the waves, threw sand in the water, saw the kite-surfers and shared my ball with a dog. It turned out to be a special evening because my baby sister Kimaya was born the next day!

My 6th and Most Effective Haircut

Mama found a haircut place called Kids' Cuts that specializes in cuts for kids. It was fun because they have car seats and TVs, but that was before the haircut.

Ok ok I am a bit of a wuss but I hate haircuts. Lucky it's just opposite Mitchell's ice cream because I got a special treat - mango ice cream with sprinkles!

The Karam Shuffle

You may think I am just a jock, but I have swift feet and a patented dance move, called the Karam shuffle. Most evident at around 1:50 into this video. Impromptu dance party at nanu's!

Mama's Godh Bharai

Nanu organized a small godh bharai for mama with maasi and the girls, ratan nani and ajoy mamu and amit mamu, and aamsi. it was lots of fun! especially when the dancing and food happened!
